SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed and shipped via Canada Post, FedEx® OR UPS from our warehouse in Montreal, Canada. Local delivery is also available for local customers! Please see below for more details.

Order Processing and Shipping

Once your order is received, we will ship it out within 2 business days. Please refer to the lead time posted below for the most up-to-date estimate. The day your package is shipped, you will receive a shipping notification email with your tracking number (if eligible).

Once a package leaves our warehouse, we are not responsible for transit delays that may occur due to weather, customs, or other unforeseen circumstances. If you think your package may be lost, please get in touch, and we will do our best to help you locate it or arrange a replacement.

Shipping Transit Times and Duty Rates

Fabric Shipping Policy

For Canadian Market:

All orders over $100 CAD before taxes qualify for free shipping across Canada. Under $100 CAD, a flat rate of $15 is charged on the total order. The average transit time varies between 1 -2 days for regional orders and 5-7 days for national orders.

For American Market:

All orders over $200 USD before taxes qualify for free shipping across the United States. The average transit time is 5 - 10 days.

Label and Other Small Items Shipping Policy

For Canadian and American Market:

All small items are shipped in regular letter-mail. A flat rate shipping fee of $3 is applied on orders under $50 CAD. Orders over $50 are eligible for free shipping.

 

Approximate transit times are as follows:

  • Local: 1-2 days

  • Provincial: 3 days

  • National: 4 days

  • United States: 5 - 14 days

Local Delivery:

This option will be offered if eligible at check out.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

 

We stand behind the quality of our products and strive to ensure that every order is fulfilled accurately. If we make a mistake with your order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at longanpatterns@gmail.com and we will do everything we can to make it right as quickly as possible.

Please note that we do not accept returns on cut goods, zippers, and patterns unless an error was made on our part. However, if you're unsatisfied with a product you've purchased, we encourage you to contact us at longanpatterns@gmail.com so we can better understand the situation and work with you to find a resolution. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we're always here to help.

FABRIC NOTICE 

At Longan Patterns, we strive to accurately represent the colours of our fabrics online. Our photographs are taken in natural light without any editing. However, please note that due to differences in monitor and mobile device settings, the colour you see on your screen may vary from the actual colour of the fabric. If you're unsure about the colour, we recommend trying a different monitor or device, or reaching out to us directly at longanpatterns@gmail.com or through Instagram messaging. Our team is always happy to help and answer any questions you may have.

TAXES AND DUTIES

All orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, meaning all taxes and import duties are excluded from the final price. So your order may incur duties and import taxes upon delivery. Please note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
