Hello Hello,

I'm Harry from Montreal, Canada! Welcome to my online shop! It's been a dream of mine to share with the world beautiful sewing patterns that you can easily download at home, assemble and sew!

A little bit more about myself? Well, I graduated from Fashion Design school in Paris, France, and went on taking a pattern-making class right after. I have 15+ years of experience within the industry and I still wake up every day wanting to do more. I like to say that I am very approachable, so you may always reach out for any kind of inquiry or assistance with my patterns!

Something else that you should know; all patterns and designs are fruits of my labor and trial! I hope that my patterns are used for personal use only, but no worries if it's not. In the end, I am selling digital PDF sewing patterns on the planet's internet.

Most importantly, I hope you can challenge yourself with my patterns and make something that you'll love or that you'll gift! There's nothing more rewarding that living in your own clothes (literally).

Make sure you follow my social media listed at the bottom of this page! In the meantime, I wish you nothing but some incredible sewing moments and creations!

Cheers,
Harry

After earning our fashion degrees alongside Harry, I had a feeling that our paths would eventually lead us back to each other. Today, we are pursuing our shared dream by bringing Longan Patterns to life!

In my free time, I indulge in fashion research and history, spend quality time with my furry friend, and design sewing patterns. Should you have any questions or need assistance with our patterns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at longanpatterns@gmail.com. I'd be delighted to provide support in French, English, or Mandarin.

Our recycled fabric is not just eco-friendly, it's sustainable in every sense of the word. Made from post-consumer waste, it not only conserves precious resources but also reduces the carbon footprint associated with the production of new textiles. Moreover, our fabric is created through fair labor practices, ensuring that all workers involved in the production process receive a fair wage. By choosing our recycled fabric, you can feel good about your purchase knowing that it supports both people and the planet.

What makes our fabric sustainable?

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international standard for recycled textiles and products. It was developed by the non-profit organization Textile Exchange to ensure that recycled products meet strict environmental, social, and safety requirements. The standard covers the entire supply chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to the production and labeling of finished products. The goal of the GRS is to promote transparency, sustainability, and traceability in the production of recycled textiles and products.

Our fabric is "GSR" approved, but what does that mean?

Recycled polyester fabric is made from post-consumer plastic waste, such as used water bottles, packaging materials, and discarded clothing. The waste plastic is collected, sorted, and processed to remove any contaminants. The cleaned plastic is then melted and spun into fibers that can be woven into fabric. The resulting recycled polyester fabric has the same properties and performance characteristics as new polyester, but with a lower environmental impact since it is made from waste materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean.

What is recycled polyester fabric made of?
