You can make it in any nonstretch fabric. I recommend using a material that is heavyweight, such as a thick cotton canvas or denim. 
 
This pattern comes in 10 different sizes, with a full-size chart and clearly written and illustrated instructions.
 
It features a semi-lining (front facing and back facing), 2 front pockets, and a 2 piece back attached to a back yoke. The design is timeless.
